Coaching Fees & Process

As a former consultant and a purchaser of consulting/coaching services, I recognize that the hourly fees for experienced consultants typically range from $300 – $500 per hour. A consultant with my experience as an entrepreneur and C-level executive would bill around $800-$1000 per hour. I’ve always wondered why people believe the saying: “You get what you pay for.” Consequently, consumers expect consultants who charge higher rates deliver better advice and services than those who charge less.

I offer coaching services to pay back the help I received over the years as I struggled to build my companies and grow my net worth. I remember the times I could have used advice but could not afford it. Ideally, my fees are low enough to anyone who might seek my help, yet high enough to ensure my advice is respected.

Hourly or Monthly Coaching Fees

My fee per half-hour coaching session is $50.00. Fee is due and payable when a session is scheduled. After completion of the 10th session, the fee will be reduced to $35.00 per session.

Coaching for a month – limited to two (2) sessions per week or a maximum of nine (9) sessions per month – is available for a fee of $300, a 33% savings from the single session fee.

The Coach/Executive Relationship

01

Initial Client Contact

Potential clients are expected to complete and return a brief questionnaire when scheduling their compatibility interview. The questionnaire is intended to identify their goals for a coaching relationship, their position in the company, and their employer’s industry, revenues, and employee count.

02

Compatibility Interview

Trust and mutual understanding between a potential client and Michael Lewis are essential to achieving successful outcomes. Consequently, prospective clients should be comfortable sharing their challenges, aspirations, and vulnerabilities.

Information shared by a client is considered proprietary and confidential. Even so, a contractual arrangement does not exist unless the client subsequently schedules and pays for a coaching session with Lewis.

The Compatibility Interview is free and any further contact or relationship between a prospective client and Lewis is at the sole option of the prospect.

03

The Process

Some clients use a coach to gain insight to resolve specific problems on an as-needed basis. Others seek longer term relationships to mature particular skills, including data analysis, strategic thinking, and employee motivation. The extent and depth of the client/coach relationship is always controlled by the client.

Whether a single session or a series over weeks or month, the client will receive an edited digital copy of the session’s communication within 3 business days following the session.

04

Ancillary Research or Analysis

Executives, for a variety of reasons including lack of time or staff, need for confidentiality, or competitive pressure, sometimes need information that is not readily available or requires a non-biased perspective.

Private research for a negotiated fee is available on request.
